Homework: Due Wednesday 29th January.
1) Read through the student answer booklet and write down things that you think you do that are similar / different 2) Answer the source question on Guernica given to you in class - Question 1! Remember you only need to use the sources for this question but use the mark scheme given! |
What makes a source reliable or not or what makes a source useful or not?
Look at the source below about propaganda in WW1. Do you think it is reliable? Is it useful?
REMEMBER! A source is NEVER completely reliable or completely useless so do not write it in your exam! In order to decide the message of a source or if it is reliable / useful we need to look at the PROVENANCE of a source! WHO? WHAT? WHY? WHEN? And also you must look at the context of what was going on at the time - this will come from your own knowledge. |
